A new trailer for Fire Emblem Warriors, Koei Tecmo’s Dynasty Warriors-style action game, debuted during Nintendo’s E3 2017 presentation.
We saw our first glimpses of fan favorite heroes in action, like Marth, Chrom, female Corrin, Ryoma and Xander, as well as the game’s original heroes. They’ll all take on an evil dragon plaguing the new heroes’ world as it threatens to “bring chaos and destruction to the land.”
Basically, it’s a Fire Emblem game, just without any turn-based strategy battles. There will be both swordsmen and magic users playable in the game, although we predominantly saw swordsmen.
The game will be available on both Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch when it launches this fall. We still don’t have a firm release date from either Nintendo or developer Omega Force, but expect more information to come sooner than later.
Nintendo’s E3 2017 Direct is followed by a Treehouse livestream, which could have more gameplay and details on Fire Emblem Warriors. Stick around for that at 9:30 a.m. PT.
