Coco Bandicoot playable in Crash N. Sane trilogy

Now with more selfies

Crash Bandicoot’s sister Coco will be a playable character in all three games in the Crash N. Sane Trilogy for PlayStation 4: Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped. The official Crash Bandicoot Twitter and YouTube accounts confirmed the announcement with a short sizzle reel of her exploits.

According to the description on YouTube, she decided to hack into the Time Twister to help out her brother in his previous adventures. Players will be able to switch between the two — both have their own unique set of special attacks. While Crash can body slam enemies, Coco takes them out with a double leg drop. Her appearance is relatively the same with denim overalls, pink sneakers and a matching laptop — but this time she’s brought a pink cell phone to snap some selfies.

Remastered versions of Coco-specific stages are still included in the games, including her tiger run and jet ski adventure. The teaser also shows glimpses of Coco slipping and sliding on ice, and fighting her way through a few other familiar settings.

The Crash N. Sane Trilogy will be available on PS4 on June 30 for $39.99. You can check out five minutes of the remastered gameplay — albeit without Coco — below.
