Star Wars vs. Star Trek settled for all time with dance-off

Starfleet cannot repel dance moves of that magnitude

Star Wars versus Star Trek. We've argued this without resolution for 40 years. There have been weak proxy arguments like the Millennium Falcon vs. Enterprise (Enterprise, duh) and Borg Cube vs. Death Star (Death Star, duh) but we’ve never seen the two actually throw down head-to-head, until last night at a baseball game in Fresno.

The conceit here is Starfleet shows up to crash the Star Wars party that the Fresno Grizzlies threw last night (this is a nearly annual thing in minor league baseball). Then Ryu, or whoever that Jedi is, busts out some force-sensitive breakdance moves to put Geordi in his place. The crowd seems to agree that Star Wars is indeed cooler than Star Trek.

This is a true fact. Star Wars is the dancier universe, and that has been borne out over history. For example, here is an entire legion of its best troops awaiting Britain's Got Talent last year.

Here to reply is Sir Patrick Stewart with a jaunty vaudeville number.

And here is Kris Kristofferson and the Osmonds to shut it all down.

Actually, wait, don't watch that. Forget I showed that to you.

Anyway, thanks to the Fresno Grizzlies, the triple-A affiliate of the Houston Astros, for settling this argument once and for all.
