Niantic’s first daylong, outdoor Pokémon Go event is happening right now in Chicago’s Grant Park. For those who can’t make it out there — whether it’s because they’re out of state, live in another country entirely or just don’t want to deal with the weather — the developer has a solution: It’s streaming live from the Pokémon Go Fest grounds throughout the day.
Watch the official livestream above for a ton of “event action” from Pokémon Go Fest. Expect some gym battles, special Pokémon sightings and tons of updates on the various global challenges happening throughout the day. We’ll also likely get a look at Pokémon Go’s first legendary Pokémon, assuming players manage to unlock it.
That involves those outside of Chicago. There are events happening in-game worldwide throughout the day, so big fans should make sure to get out there and play Pokémon Go, no matter where they are. For more on when specifically to log in and reap the rewards, check out our guide.
The livestream runs from 10 a.m. CT until 7 p.m. CT, as does the event.
