Bonuses unlocked as part of Pokémon Go Fest this weekend will continue to be active in the game through this Thursday. Developer Niantic announced on the game’s Twitter account that it’s extending the rewards — which include additional experience, items and more — for another 72 hours.
This comes on top of another lengthy extension period that’s meant to make amends for Pokémon Go Fest. Players were meant to unlock the bonuses during Saturday’s outdoor event by catching enough Pokémon; doing so would make them available to all through the end of the weekend. But Pokémon Go players hardly had a chance to catch anything at all, due to major connectivity problems that shocked even Niantic.
Niantic announced during the event that it would make the bonuses available to all for a longer period of time, as a way to allow players to truly experience them. The rewards were originally meant to be live through Monday evening.
Now that the game has stabilized, players can benefit from the bonuses until 5 p.m. PT on July 27. The full list of active global rewards is below.
- Double Stardust
- Double Candy
- Double experience
- Increased Pokémon encounters
- Reduced hatching distance
- Reduced buddy distance
