Doomfist now playable in Overwatch on PC, PS4 and Xbox One

Overwatch’s 25th character goes live, along with other big changes

Overwatch’s long-awaited new character, the villainous Doomfist, is now playable in the PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One versions of the game. Doomfist had been playable on the PC version’s public test region for the past few weeks.

To mark the official release of Doomfist, Blizzard put together a sizzle reel showing off the character’s traits, abilities and background. You can watch that above.

Overwatch’s Doomfist update also includes a host of other changes for the game, including new options for capturing and saving gameplay highlights, and loot box updates designed to reduce the number of duplicate items.

Today’s update also includes some minor but important changes to a few of Overwatch’s heroes, namely D.Va, Genji, Zarya, Reaper, McCree and Reinhardt. For a look at the full patch notes, head to the official Overwatch website.
