Another Nintendo Direct focused on Splatoon 2 airs this Thursday, July 6. The presentation kicks off at 10 a.m. ET and will highlight new features from the Nintendo Switch game.
We’ve had several Splatoon 2-themed Nintendo Direct presentations in recent months. As one of the biggest Switch games on the docket for Nintendo this year, that’s no surprise. But now that the game finally nears release, it’s likely that this week’s livestream will be the last to center on Splatoon 2.
Splatoon 2 will launch on Nintendo Switch on July 21, and among its exclusive new modes are a mysterious single-player campaign and Salmon Run, a horde-style multiplayer mode. There will also be local multiplayer, unlike the Wii U original Splatoon. Up to eight Nintendo Switch consoles can sync up for some team-based inking action at once.
