The sixth episode of the seventh season of Game of Thrones has found its way online, due to HBO Spain reportedly airing the episode days before it was due to be broadcast. The episode, called “Death is the Enemy” is now online in all the expected places.
“We have learned that the upcoming episode of Game of Thrones was accidentally posted for a brief time on the HBO Nordic and HBO España platforms,” HBO told The Verge. “The error appears to have originated with a third-party vendor and the episode was removed as soon as it was recognized.”
HBO hasn’t been having a good year online, as this leak follows a cyber attack on the cable network and another leaked episode that saw wide distribution due to another weakness in HBO’s content delivery system. HBO confirmed this leak was not related to the previous hack.
What does this mean for you? Images and spoilers may be hard to avoid until this Sunday, so take care when spending time on social media. The quality on the leaked filed also seems to be near perfect, so fans won’t lose out by watching it before the air date. That’s bad news for HBO, but good news for anyone who doesn’t want to wait.
Yes, Episode 6 of #GameofThrones has leaked, thanks to HBOSpain. Please use caution on social media- spoilers/images are popping up already.

We have yet to see the episode, and won’t post any spoilers until after the air date, but HBO can’t be happy about losing control of so many episodes of its biggest show this season.
