Tekken 7 gets its first batch of downloadable content next week, with the extremely important addition of Ultimate Tekken Bowl. A trailer for the minigame — which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year — show’s just how intense bowling with Tekken characters can be.
In addition to Ultimate Tekken Bowl, Tekken 7’s first add-on will include some new costumes, including bikinis and swimsuits for the game’s female fighters and vintage bathing suits for, at the very least, Leo. There are also school uniforms for Xiaoyu and Alisa inspired by their looks from the animated film Tekken: Blood Vengeance, and Idolmaster uniforms the female cast. The men of Tekken will get traditional Japanese undergarments known as fundoshi.
Tekken 7’s first DLC pack will be released Aug. 31. It’s part of the Tekken 7 season pass, which costs $24.99.
Tekken 7 is available now on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. Read Polygon’s review of the fighting game for our thoughts.
