The year’s upcoming indie games on Nintendo Switch will be featured in a live presentation this week, Nintendo of America announced today. The latest in the Nindies series of livestreams will air this Wednesday, Aug. 30 at 1 p.m. ET.
Keep in mind that Nintendo is calling this its “summer showcase,” despite the stream airing just two days before September begins. In Nintendo’s defense, fall doesn’t technically start until halfway through the month, so we’ve still got some summer left.
Based on the big Nindies showcase back in February, it’s not easy to speculate on what we may see in this Wednesday’s stream. A whopping 62 indie games were shown off during that half-hour stream. But indie games that we know are still on the way to Switch include favorites like Stardew Valley, Ultimate Chicken Horse, a sequel to SteamWorld Dig and Thimbleweed Park. Look forward to seeing some of these, or perhaps some surprising or unannounced titles.
We’ll have the stream embedded live here on Polygon, so check back on Wednesday to see all the fresh indies heading to the Switch this year and beyond.
