The Game Grumps, Jesse Cox and Michelle Morrow go esports

YouTube released the first trailer today for its original series Good Game, the scripted esports comedy executed produced by Community and Rick and Morty creator Dan Harmon, giving potential viewers a taste of what the YouTube Red-exclusive show has to offer.

Good Game stars Dan Avidan and Arin Hanson, better known as the duo behind let’s play channel Game Grumps, and YouTube personalities Michelle Morrow and Jesse Cox. Hanson and Avidan’s characters aspire to become esports stars, competing in the fictional game Killcore. Oh, also, there’s a Terry Crews cameo in here.

Here’s the six-episode series’ official description:

An eternal optimist (Dan Avidan) and a miserable slacker (Arin Hanson) recruit a team of misfits to take on the esports establishment by competing for a spot in the biggest KILLCORE tournament of the year— BLOOD MATCH.

Good Game premieres on YouTube Red on Aug. 30. Subscriptions to YouTube Red cost $9.99 per month, though the service offers a free one-month trial period.
