Nintendo is giving Nindies (aka games coming to Nintendo Switch from indie developers) some time in the spotlight today during a livestream. The Nindies Summer 2017 Showcase will be broadcast on Nintendo’s YouTube and Twitch channels starting at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET.
It’s not clear how long today’s Nindies showcase stream will last, but the last one — from February — lasted 30 minutes and featured more than 60 games.
Some high-profile indies are Switch-bound this year, including Stardew Valley, SteamWorld Dig 2, Hollow Knight, Rocket League and Owlboy. Nintendo UK’s YouTube channel recently featured a video highlighting some of the indie titles coming to Switch this year, including Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, Yoku’s Island Express and Wargroove.
Nintendo fans in the Seattle area — where PAX West 2017 is happening later this week — can check out select indie games at the company’s Nindies@Night event. The event will take place at the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle, from 8:30 p.m. to midnight on Thursday, Aug. 31. The event will be open to the public and livestreamed for those who can’t make it in person.
