This week’s additions to the Nintendo eShop are certainly more robust than last, and include Celeste on the Nintendo Switch and Pokémon Crystal Version on the Nintendo 3DS.
Celeste, which is available now for $19.99, is a new platformer from the team that made TowerFall. The narrative game includes a huge cast of characters, as well as “B-side chapters” to give players extra challenges. We’ve played it, and will have our review up soon.
Pokémon Crystal Version was first introduced on the Game Boy Color in 2000. This port for the 3DS includes a few new features, including male and female avatars and additional animations. It’s also available in 2D through the Virtual Console service. The game will cost $9.99, and be available for download on Jan. 26 at 9 a.m. PT.
The New Nintendo 3DS gets one additional game this week in Zig Zag Go for $1.49.
