Bandai Namco revealed new details on the roster of Soulcalibur 6 today in the form of a new trailer that shows returning characters Kilik, Nightmare and Xianghua, as well as a newcomer named Grøh.
Grøh, who’s also known as The Agent in Black according to today’s trailer, fights with a double-ended sword that he can separate into two weapons. Not much is known about Grøh himself, but it appears that he’s on a mission to assassinate his targets while also bringing some good anime hair to the Soulcalibur 6 roster.
Kilik, Nightmare and Xianghua all made their first playable appearance in the original Soulcalibur, so it makes sense that they’d return for Soulcalibur 6. The latest entry in Bandai Namco’s weapons-based fighter is taking the franchise back to its origins, after all. But it appears there may be changes in store for Kilik, who seems consumed by his “bloodlust” in the final shot of today’s trailer.
Grøh, Kilik, Nightmare and Xianghua join two previously confirmed characters, Mitsurugi and Sophitia, in Soulcalibur 6.
Soulcalibur 6 is coming to PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One later this year.
