It’s been a long week, and you may be thinking about making a few additions to your Nintendo Switch library. The good news is that Nintendo has put a few of the system’s bigger games on sale through the eShop.
The sale prices aren’t that much lower than retail pricing, but every little bit helps. The game selection is pretty good as well. Arms is one of the stranger new games from Nintendo, and it’s worth the price just for the oddity of seeing Nintendo go hard on a ridiculous idea.
Doom is one of the few big-budget, mature-rated games on the platform, and it’s fascinating to see a first-person shooter of that ferocity on a portable system —although it may hurt your hands.
Fighting games like Street Fighter 2 are a great fit for the local multiplayer of the Switch, and Mario + Rabbids is one of the rare times that Nintendo has loaned out Mario to appear in another franchise.
Here are the sales prices of those titles:
- Arms for $41.99 (down from $59.99)
- Doom for $41.99 (down from $59.99)
- Ultra Street Fighter 2: The Final Challengers for $27.99 (down from $39.99)
- Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Gold Edition for $55.99 (down from $79.99)
“Act fast, though, as this sale only runs until 2/1 at 8:59 a.m. PT,” the official site states. You can see the full list of games on sale at the Nintendo landing page. There’s some good stuff, some OK stuff and some stuff that is certainly less expensive than it used to be.
This is a nice surprise on a Friday afternoon, and you don’t even have to leave your house to take advantage of the lower prices.
