Monster Hunter: World is probably the hottest game in the world right now and for good reason. Our own Chelsea Stark gave the series’ highly anticipated new installment a review score of 9. The game was released on Jan. 26 and you can already buy it below full price. Green Man Gaming is offering a 10 percent discount on the standard and deluxe editions for PS4 and Best Buy’s Gamer’s Club Unlocked is offering the game to buyers for 20 percent off of the retail price. If you’re in the market for a new Xbox One, Newegg is already offering the new Monster Hunter in a bundle with an Xbox One X.
Aside from Monster Hunter sales, there are plenty of other great game deals this week. For one, you can get the Madden 18 G.O.A.T. Super Bowl Edition, which comes with special unlocked players for less than $20 at the Microsoft Store. If you really can’t wait for the Super Bowl, snag it now and play out a couple Eagles-Patriots games in the meantime.

COMMERCE TEAM PICKS
While we usually bring you the best gaming deals each week, there are a few non-sale products we’re really into right now. Here’s what the commerce team is loving this week.
- The SNES Classic can be pretty difficult to find online. Most online retailers are sold out, but GameStop has a Super NES Classic Collector’s Edition Guide Bundle right now that comes with the console, two controllers and a limited edition hardcover book about the SNES. It’s a couple bucks extra, but it’s totally worth it.
- Xbox One, we see what you’re doing with Game Pass. We like what we see. The subscription game service is now going to be adding Xbox One exclusives to its roster the day that they’re available. Game Pass subscribers can now get games like Sea of Thieves and Crackdown 3 as soon as they’re out. If you’re an Xbox fan, it just started to make a lot more sense to get Game Pass.
- The Nintendo Store did all Switch owners a service this week and marked down some great games. Doom, Arms, Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers and Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Gold Edition are all on sale right now at the Nintendo Store. You do have to act fast, though. This deal ends Feb. 2.
Note: This post was updated to reflect a price change on Raspberry Pi and regularity in new game release discounts.
