Kendrick Lamar has unveiled the first single off Marvel’s Black Panther soundtrack. The song, “All The Stars,” features R&B singer Sza. The soundtrack will be available to purchase on Feb. 9, but you can listen to the song right now in the video above.
The song was posted on Lamar’s YouTube page, with a link for fans who wanted to pre-order the album. A pre-order page on Google Music confirmed the album will be available for just under $10 and will feature 14 tracks in total. There are no other clues as to who will guest star on the album at this time.
Lamar first teased that he was working on the soundtrack in a music video for a song off his latest album. In the video for “LOVE,” Lamar can be seen sitting in a chair while a clapperboard in the foreground teases the Black Panther connection.
Prior to the video, Black Panther director Ryan Coogler and star Chadwick Boseman spoke to the Los Angeles Times about how important Lamar’s music and message of resilience was to the film. An exclusive Black Panther trailer that played at San Diego Comic-Con during Marvel’s Hall H panel used Lamar’s hit song “DNA.”
Black Panther will be released on Feb. 16.
