Dragon Ball FighterZ’s open beta starts Saturday, Jan. 13 (if you preordered the game; Sunday if you didn’t), and Bandai Namco’s Twitter account in Spain revealed the beta’s 11-character roster early this morning.

Although Bandai Namco released a closed beta back in the fall, this will be the first time that all fans get to try out Nappa, Vegeta, Goku, Piccolo, Krillin, Cell, Android 18, Frieza, Beerus, Kid Buu and Adult Gohan. That’s 11 out of the 20 fighters the main game will feature at launch, and it looks like the beta-minders made sure to get the mainstays of the anime franchise in there. Dragon Ball FighterZ’s hype cycle has been all about the fan service (especially in this trailer from Jump Festa) since its surprise announcement back at E3 2017.
Fans who pre-ordered can start playing the beta on Jan. 13 at 3 a.m. ET; everyone else starts Jan. 14 at 3 a.m. ET. The beta ends for everybody on Jan. 16 at 2:59 a.m. ET. The beta is for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One only. (A Windows PC version of the game is launching on Jan. 26 as well.)
