Sean Bean is also going to die in Hitman 2

Bean will play one of the game’s Elusive Targets

Actor Sean Bean will appear in Hitman 2 as the game’s first Elusive Target, the game’s high-stakes contracts that are only available for a limited time, developer IO Interactive announced today.

Bean will play a character known as Mark Faba, a former MI5 agent turned freelance assassin who’s also known as “The Undying,” due to his reputation for faking his own death. That character is introduced in a live-action trailer, posted above, featuring Faba speaking with his therapist, a session that ends ... badly.

Sean Bean is, of course, famous for his numerous on-screen deaths. Over the course of his three-decade acting career, he’s been shot, stabbed, hung, trampled by cattle, decapitated, and drawn and quartered, which makes him ideally suited for an assassination target in Hitman. Bean also served as the narrator for Hitman 2’s announcement trailer.

Hitman 2 will be released Nov. 20 on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
