The newest trailer for Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina shows us just what’s at stake for the teenage witch.
Though the teaser only hinted at the darker things to come, the full trailer gives us a glimpse of Sabrina’s (Kiernan Shipka) conflict: Will she chose to walk the path of night and follow her family’s tradition of worshipping the Dark Lord? Or will she turn her back on the ways of Satan and stay with her adorkable boyfriend Harvey Kinkle (Ross Lynch, fresh off My Friend Dahmer) and her mortal friends? Or will she take a completely different path entirely?
Just as Sabrina’s about to sign her name into a sinister looking book (blood dripping from her forehead in an upside down cross), she gasps that she can’t do this and runs away from the dark baptism.
One thing’s for sure: Sabrina’s gonna do things her own way.
Michelle Gomez’s delightfully evil Madam Satan also makes an appearance in the trailer, as well as a creepy red-toned vision of hanging bodies, a very buff goat-headed Satan and a brief shot of Salem the cat himself.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina premieres on Netflix on Oct. 26. Get ready, witches.
