Nearly two months after its release, Overcooked 2 is already going to sunnier places with its first DLC, Surf ‘n’ Turf. Join the new parrot chef, as well as returning chef Boof, and others to work with the Onion King and serve up some tropical classics. The content update brings 12 new kitchens, including beaches and swimming pools, new chefs and new recipes. Players will find themselves avoiding obstacles like conga lines and finicky rafts while blending up fruit smoothies and grilling kebabs.
Kitchen equipment is also re-skinned to feel more at home in warmer climates: Water guns replace fire extinguishers. You can also choose to blast your plates clean with it, if you wish. Other new mechanics include using bellows to grill kebabs, but take care — the hotter the fire, the faster your food will burn.
Overcooked 2’s Surf ‘n’ Turf DLC is available now on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One for $5.99.
