Three more Final Fantasy games are coming to Xbox One. Microsoft and Square Enix announced at X018 today that Final Fantasy 13, Final Fantasy 13-2 and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 will become backward compatible on Xbox One on Nov. 13.
Those three role-playing games were originally released on Xbox 360 between 2009 and 2013. The Final Fantasy 13 trilogy will also be enhanced for Xbox One X.
Those three titles join World of Final Fantasy Maxima, Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 9, Final Fantasy 10/10-2 HD Remaster and Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age, which Square Enix announced in September were coming to Xbox One over the course of the next year.
Also new to the Xbox One backward compatible program is an Xbox One X-enhanced version of Civilization Revolution. The turn-based strategy game from Firaxis Games and designer Sid Meier joined the Xbox One backward compatibility program back in April 2017.
Microsoft says that more than 500 Xbox 360 games — 25 of which are Xbox One X-enhanced titles — and 32 original Xbox classics are now part of the backward compatibility program.
