Sony continues to offer some of the best deals in virtual reality hardware with this year’s Black Friday PlayStation VR pricing. There are two official bundle on sale for either $199.99 and $249.99, with the main difference coming from the software selection and the addition of two Move controllers in the more expensive option.
You’ll be fine using standard DualShock controllers and the camera that’s included in either bundle if you want to save a few bucks, but getting dedicated motion controls for only $50 extra is a bargain. On the flip side, Astro Bot Robot Rescue — included in the cheaper bundle — is one of the best PlayStation VR games on the platform. It sells for $39.99 on its own, which is a point in the $199.99 bundle’s favor.
The good news is that there’s not really a bad choice here if you’re giving the gift of PlayStation VR or just treating yourself this holiday season. Below is a look at both bundles, complete with direct links to the retailers who are carrying them.
