BlizzCon 2018 kicks off today, Nov. 2, with Blizzard’s opening ceremony, where we expect news on Overwatch, World of Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm and Hearthstone. We’ll even get some kind of news on the future of Diablo — just don’t expect an announcement of Diablo 4.
You can watch BlizzCon 2018’s opening ceremonies streamed live right here, starting at 11 a.m. PT/2 p.m. ET via YouTube and Twitch. The opening ceremony is expected to last about an hour.
Update: The opening ceremony is over and there is so much that happened. Rewatch everything in the video above — skip to the 58-minute mark unless you want to rewatch the preshow.
BlizzCon’s opening ceremony is free to watch. If you want to livestream the event’s other panels, where developers will dive deeper into today’s news, you’ll need a BlizzCon Virtual Ticket, which costs $49.99. Polygon will be at BlizzCon 2018 this weekend — with our colleagues from Heroes Never Die — covering the panels, hands-on gameplay and interviews with Blizzard developers and executives.
The full schedule for BlizzCon 2018, which runs Friday, Nov. 2, through Saturday, Nov. 3, is available at Blizzard’s website.
