The Alliance are preparing for invasion in the Lost Honor World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth cinematic

Saurfang returns, but this time he’s fighting for a different side

World of Warcraft’s newest expansion, Battle for Azeroth, has the game’s two factions, the Horde and Alliance at each other’s throats, and Blizzard’s new cinematic looks at where the two factions go next.

In Lost Honor, which debuted during the company’s annual BlizzCon event, focuses on Saurfang the disgraced Horde General. Saurfang was captured at the end of the Battle for Lordaeron and has been horrified by the actions of current Warchief, Sylvanas Windrunner. The video reveals that Saurfang spared the life of Alliance King Anduin in hopes that he could stop Sylvanas. Instead, Anduin trusts the honor of the Orc and releases him from prison and suggests that the two will help take down Sylvanas together, setting up the story line for Tides of Vengeance, the game’s next patch.

The Tides of Vengeance patch is set to release sometime in the next few months, and should bring Saurfang and Sylvanas’s conflict to an end as he helps the Alliance invade Horde territory in the new raid, The battle for Daza’Alor.
