Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has way more chilling adventures ahead for our favorite teenage witch.
On Tuesday, Netflix announced that the show would return for both season three and four, in a total of 16 more episodes. Production for the back-to-back seasons begins in 2019. The previously announced season two, meanwhile, will return on April 5, 2019.
Based on the Archie Horror imprint of the same name, the dark reboot of Sabrina the Teenage Witch doesn’t shy away from the macabre and the sinful Satanic worship. Half-mortal, half-witch and all headstrong Sabrina (Kiernan Shipka) must navigate between the world of her mortal friends Harvey (Ross Lynch), Roz (Jaz Sinclair) and Susie (Lachlan Watson), and her family’s world of witchcraft.
Joining the cast for season two are Jedidiah Goodacre (Disney’s Descendants) as Dorian Gray (yes, that Dorian Gray) and Alexis Denisof (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) as Adam Masters, boyfriend of Mary Wardwall (Michelle Gomez), whose body is currently being inhabited by Madame Satan, right hand of the Dark Lord.
The first season is currently streaming on Netflix — as well as a holiday special just in time for the Winter Solstice.
