Celeste was one of Polygon’s top 10 games of the year. Next year, it will get a physical release courtesy of Limited Run Games, which will also put out a collector’s edition that’s already in contention for top collector’s edition package of 2019.
The Celeste collector’s edition comes with a copy of the game, naturally, as well as some genuinely good tchotchkes: a sticker sheet, Celeste Mountain patch, poster and postcard, a Steelbook case, the game’s soundtrack on cassette and a plush strawberry, a soft reminder of all the strawberries you couldn’t acquire in the game. Limited Run is even throwing in a card that includes a recipe for strawberry pie, should all that fruit have you hankering for some homemade pastry.
Along with the standard editions of @celeste_game starting their pre-order window next Tuesday, limited amounts of Collector's Editions will go on sale. The first batch goes up on our site January 1 at 10 am EST, with a smaller final batch going up at 6 pm EST that day. pic.twitter.com/GraqQJ89hg

For Celeste fans who appreciate the physical cassette — a nod to the game’s B-Sides — but don’t have a Walkman or boom box handy, the package also includes a download code for the game’s soundtrack. The award-winning soundtrack from composer Lena Raine is also available on vinyl.
Limited Run’s Celeste collector’s edition will cost $74.99 on PlayStation 4 and $79.99 on Nintendo Switch when it goes on sale Jan. 1 at 10 a.m. ET. The collector’s edition is limited to 2,500 copies.
