This probably isn’t The Avengers game you were expecting

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, a new action-RPG developed by Team Ninja, has been revealed and is coming to exclusively to Nintendo Switch in 2019. The unexpected sequel in the beloved Ultimate Alliance series debuted at The Game Awards on Thursday night.

The game will follow a huge cast of Marvel heroes including the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy and the X-Men. All of these heroes will team up to take on The Black Order — warriors who fight at the command of Thanos — and find the Infinity Stones before they fall into the hands of the Mad Titan.

Just like the last game in the series, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, which was released back in 2009, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 will feature drop in/drop-out co-op play through the entire game. The game’s developer, Team Ninja is famous for its action games, including Ninja Gaiden, Nioh and Dead or Alive.
