Kingdom Hearts 3’s new worlds look great and all, especially the newly revealed Monsters Inc. one. But one artist has been modeling more ambitious crossovers that we wish Square Enix would consider adding into the long-overdue game, copyright entanglements be damned.
DeviantArt user Vitor-Aizen has posted a plethora of original mash-ups on his account, including Super Smash Bros. reworks and Pokémon-style Digimon game concepts. The idea he’s gotten the most mileage out of thus far is taking the characters and interface of Kingdom Hearts and mixing them up with a whole bunch of familiar worlds from games, movies and anime.
This isn’t just mere fan art. Vitor-Aizen has created convincing enough versions of Sora, Donald and Goofy — and favorites like Mario, Sonic and even Ellie and Joel from The Last of Us — that some Kingdom Hearts fans are asking if their work comes straight from the actual games.

These worlds don’t, of course, and most of us would never fall for them as real screens. But if you’ve ever dreamed of Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece joining Sora’s party, or taking Sora into Hyrule Kingdom, Vitor-Aizen’s work is something to behold. (It’s especially worth checking out the gallery, since each piece has custom music matching the world it’s based on.) The best part is that these models are available to download for anyone on Steam, to use with Garry’s Mod.
