Netflix’s live-action Fullmetal Alchemist movie is almost available to stream, but just in case you missed previous trailers, here’s your latest look at it.
Based on Hiromu Arakawa’s popular manga of the same name that ran from July 2001 through June 2010, Fullmetal Alchemist follows Edward Elric on his journey to become a state alchemist and undo the horrific incident that occurred after a transmutation went horribly wrong.
When his younger brother, Alphonse, is dragged into another reality, Edward sacrifices his right arm. Alphonse’s soul was essentially pinned to a mechanical suit of armor, leaving Edward with a tremendous amount of guilt. The story centers on Edward’s promise to return Alphonse to his original body in his quest to become the best alchemist in the world.
A listing for titles coming to Netflix in February confirmed the streaming service would carry the film for North American audiences. The film was already released in Japan. An anime convention in New York earlier this year also hosted a special screening of the film.
Fullmetal Alchemist will be available to stream on Feb. 19.
