Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PSVR bundles are everywhere, plus more gaming deals

Console bundles have been getting a lot of coverage lately, with Microsoft and Sony in particular offering major deals on Xbox One and PSVR bundles this month. The new Xbox One PUBG bundle is already discounted from $299.99 to $249, after only being on the market for a few days. An Xbox One Madden NFL 18 bundle is down to $229.99 now that football season is over. All PSVR bundles are discounted $100 until March 3. When it comes to Nintendo Switch bundles, pretty much anything you can get is better than nothing. Grab a free travel case when you pick up the Switch at Walmart.

When it comes to games, the most exciting sale happening right now is that Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is only $45 on Amazon — the lowest price we’ve seen on it. (I‘ve played it on my Wii U twice already but I’m also going to pick it up for Switch because it’s that dang good.) Warner Brothers fans are having a good week too. On Fanatical you can pick up a bundle of Batman PC games plus a bunch of DLC valued at over $100 for $9.99, or mix and match three WB games on PC for $11.99. Microsoft is also selling the Batman Telltale series for just $10.

Commerce Team Picks

• Polygon’s sister site The Verge reported that the Asus Mixed Reality headset is now available for pre-order in the US. At $429, it’s definitely on the more expensive end of Windows’ VR offerings, but it does come with two motion controllers which offsets the price a little.
• I don’t think anyone could read Charlie Hall’s enthusiastic piece about returning to Magic: The Gathering without wanting to get in on the action. MTG has always been super intimidating to me, but I picked up the Mind vs. Might Duel Deck from my local shop this weekend and had a blast. To start building your own deck, grab a Deckbuilder’s Toolkit that has everything you need to get going.
• I wrote about my favorite board games from Settlers of Catan publisher Mayfair Games after they announced they would be shutting down their operation. I highly recommend picking up any of the games on this list, especially Star Trek: Five Year Mission if you enjoy co-op games and/or sci-fi.
• Tomb Raider Barbie is being released on March 9! As someone who grew up loving both dolls and video games, I hit that pre-order button as fast as I could.
