The sequel to Jurassic World doesn’t hit theaters for another four months, but Universal Pictures is already saving the date for a third film in the franchise. Jurassic World 3 will be released June 11, 2021, the studio announced today.

Jurassic World 3 will be written by Emily Carmichael and Colin Trevorrow, the director of 2015’s Jurassic World and the co-writer of its sequel, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Trevorrow will return to executive produce the third Jurassic World movie with Stephen Spielberg, according to a report from The Hollywood Reporter.

Carmichael’s work includes co-writing the screenplay to Pacific Rim Uprising, which hits theaters in March. Her earlier work includes animated short RPG OKC and animated series The Adventures of Ledo and Ix. Both of those projects are designed in the style of 8-bit video games.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will be released on June 22, 2018. The most recent trailer for the oops-we-probably-shouldn’t-have-revived-those-dinosaurs blockbuster debuted during the Super Bowl.
