Star Wars fans were treated to their first look at Solo: A Star Wars Story during the Super Bowl today, just a few months before the movie is set to hit theaters.
The 30-second teaser isn’t the only glimpse of Lucasfilm’s stand-alone Han Solo movie that fans will get this week. The first full-length trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story is expected to debut on Good Morning America sometime Monday morning.
There’s less than four months until Solo is released, and we still don’t know much about it. We know that it’s a Han Solo origin story, and that it will explore how he became friends with Chewbacca and won the Millennium Falcon away from Lando Calrissian. The movie will reportedly explore some of the most pivotal moments in Star Wars lore — like Solo’s impressive feat of making the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs.
Solo: A Star Wars Story will be released on May 25, 2018.
