Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom helped to kick off a night of highly-anticipated movie teasers and trailers at this year’s Super Bowl 52.
The trailer, seen above, is the second we’ve seen. The movie’s first trailer was released in early December, just before the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The trailer re-introduced some of Jurassic World’s most popular characters, including Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady and Bryce Dallas Howard’s Claire Dearing, who team up to prevent another dinosaur outbreak. One of Jurassic Park’s most popular characters, math expert Dr. Ian Malcolm, played by the incomparable Jeff Goldblum, is also joining the team, using his own brand of expertise to try and help.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is the second movie in a trilogy, and will pick up right where the first Jurassic World left off. J.A Bayona is directing, taking over for Colin Trevorrow, who directed the first Jurassic World.
Update: Though we didn’t get any major footage of Jeff Goldblum, he did star in another Jurassic Park-themed Super Bowl spot: a Jeep commercial directed by Colin Trevorrow.
