#WarGames, the interactive video series from Her Story creator Sam Barlow, will launch March 14. The six-episode series is coming to iOS and Steam, and can be played online at Vudu.com and HelloEko.com, Eko and MGM announced today. #WarGames will also come to Xbox One at a later, unannounced date.

Barlow’s take on WarGames, the 1983 film about a high school student who unwittingly hacks into a U.S. military supercomputer while searching for new video games to play, is described as “a tale of hacktivism, modern-day espionage and military intrigue.” Viewers will experience the story of #WarGames from the point of view of Kelly, a hacker seeking justice for her family.

According to an official description of #WarGames from MGM studio Eko,

Viewers will follow Jess Nurse as Kelly, an ex-military brat turned hacker activist, as she and a team of international hackers band together in an attempt to bring about peace. As events escalate, they may have done more harm than good. Viewers influence the story by switching between video feeds and the series “learns” from their choices, resulting in experiences that are unique and personal.
