Rick and Morty is still one of the biggest shows in the world, and now it’s the inspiration behind the music video for one of the most influential rap duos.
Run The Jewels partnered with Adult Swim for its latest music video. The video, seen above, is for Run The Jewels’ “Oh Mama” off the rap duo’s third album. It stars Rick and Morty running through different universes, dressed to the nines, taking out a series of aliens standing in their way. Think Rick and Morty meets Quentin Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs and that’s essentially the vibe.
The video also acts as Adult Swim’s announcement for the network’s first festival. Adult Swim Festival will take place in Los Angeles on Oct. 6-7, and will include a live performance from Run The Jewels alongside TV show previews (maybe even Rick and Morty!), stand-up comedy specials and an opportunity to go hands-on with Adult Swim gaming titles.
