We’re still reeling from Nintendo’s massive Nintendo Direct presentation earlier this month, but the company has more news to share today. A Nindies Showcase, featuring games coming to Nintendo Switch from independent developers, promises news on even more software coming to the console.
Today’s Nindies Showcase kicks off at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET and will be streamed on YouTube. You can watch the Switch Nindies spring 2018 showcase above.
Some notable indie games coming to Switch include Kentucky Route Zero, Runner 3 and Wargroove. Hopefully, we’ll get updates on those games as well as highly anticipated titles like Hollow Knight, Hyper Light Drifter and Dead Cells. The Nintendo Switch has quickly become the go-to platform for indie developers who want to bring their new and existing games to the console, and just about everything under the sun has been or will be ported to Switch soon.
Nintendo’s most recent Nindies Showcase aired last August and featured 20 games, including Travis Strikes Again, Shovel Knight: King of Cards and Super Meat Boy Forever.
Update (12:42 p.m. ET): The Nindies Showcase wasn’t full of massive announcements, but there were a few highlights from the brief presentation. Here are the top stories:
