Polygon is looking for a summer intern!

Spend your summer with us, college students!

Polygon
Chelsea Stark (she/her), executive editor, has been covering video games for more than a decade.

Are you a college student interested in writing about what Polygon covers? Want to spend your summer working in our New York offices? Good news! We’re looking for at least one intern, and that could be you.

Polygon’s paid summer internship includes learning to write for our website, covering games, entertainment and the culture surrounding them. It also means working with other departments (social media teams and other section editors) to learn how different parts of the site work, as well as attending sessions in a professional development program courtesy of Vox Media. By the end of the internship, writers will have the skills to cover a beat in Polygon’s wheelhouse using modern reporting skills.

To participate, you need to be at least 18 years old and currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program — or have graduated within the last 12 months. You’ll need to be able to work from our New York office for 12 weeks this summer. You should have some basic writing experience (even if it’s your own blog!) and have an interest in the topics Polygon covers, as well as knowledge of our website. We also want to encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply; Polygon does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, religion, disability, national origin, protected veteran status or age.
