Guacamélee! 2, which was announced in October at Paris Games Week, is coming to Windows PC in addition to PlayStation 4. A trailer today from developer Drinkbox Studios shows off more of the game’s action.
Guacamélee! was a breakout hit for Drinkbox and charmed a lot of people with its metroidvania story of a masked stranger who comes back from the dead to save a remote town. It’s coming back in Guacamélee 2, which will support four-player cooperative gameplay.
That said, there’s still no clearer guidance on Guacamélee’s launch date other than “soon-ish.”
The first Guacamelee! launched in 2013 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. It was followed by Guacamelee!: Super Turbo Championship Edition with additional levels and bosses in 2014.
