The solstice has come and passed, and Microsoft is helping everyone ring in the spring season by offering discounts on hundreds of games, consoles and accessories. It’s not just a closeout on clearance products, popular Xbox One and PC games like Cuphead and The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition are being marked down and even new games like Sea of Thieves are being bundled with Xbox One S consoles that are already on sale.

This Microsoft sale is big, but it might not even be the biggest gaming deals event of the week. This week, Sony announced that it would once again be cutting the price of its virtual reality hardware. Standalone headsets are down to just about $200, and bundles are also seeing a price drop. The Skyrim bundle is just $349.99 and the Doom bundle is less than $300 at a number of retailers.

PLAYSTATION VR

Sony recently announced it would be cutting the price on its virtual reality sets and bundles. Retailers are continuing to mark down the hardware, making it one of the more cost-effective virtual reality options on the market.
