Watch the first teaser for Disney’s live-action Winnie the Pooh movie

Pooh’s here to save Christopher Robin from capitalism

Next up in Disney’s baffling — but undeniably successful at the box office — live-action remakes of its classic animated film library is Christopher Robin. You can watch its first teaser trailer above.

Be prepared to see Christopher Robin (Ewan McGregor) as a married father with many grown-up problems — like not being able to spend time with his family because of his gray job at a nebulously capitalistic unethical corporation. Until an unexpected friend appears ...

Look, there’s a CGI Winnie the Pooh stuffed bear in this teaser, who shows up on a park bench to tell Ewan McGregor he’s got wrinkles, in the voice of the animated Winnie the Pooh.

Christopher Robin hits theaters this summer, on Aug. 3, and also stars Hayley Atwell, Mark Gatiss and a full voice cast of Disney actors as Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, Rabbit, Kanga and Owl.

It’s unclear whether there is a voice actor for Roo, and I’m really hoping something gray and depressing hasn’t happened to him.
