Little Nightmares is coming to Nintendo Switch on May 18, complete with a bizarre Pac-Man costume available to owners of the Pac-Man amiibo. Called the Pakku Mask, it allows players to hide behind the famous yellow critter while encountering one of the creepiest games of all time.
Little Nightmares is the creation of the Swedish developers at Tarsier Studios; the team’s largely veterans of the LittleBigPlanet series. Players take on the role of a child named Six who must use dream logic to solve puzzles. The game has elements of point-and-click adventure games as well as stealth games. The art is bright but grotesque, it’s world seen from a child’s perspective. Our reviewer found it difficult, but ultimately rewarding.
The game’s first piece of downloadable content, The Depths, was released last summer for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. It introduced a new character called the Runaway Kid. No word on when it will be made available for the Switch.
