Microsoft and Discord are partnering to let Xbox and PC users link their Discord accounts directly into their profile.
Xbox players will soon be able to link their Discord accounts
Rolling out in the coming weeks

Think of it like adding another linked social media account to your Xbox Live account. An email from Xbox explains how the integration will work.
“Open the Account Settings menu on Xbox One, and select ‘Linked social accounts,’” Microsoft’s statement reads. “Here, you will see a new option for linking your Discord account. Once you receive your unique code from Xbox, open the Discord app and insert the code within the Connections tab.”
The statement further says that Discord’s new integration “will make it easier for gamers” to connect with friends, and see what friends are playing. The decision to integrate Discord came from user feedback, according to the company.
“If you are playing Sea of Thieves on your Xbox, you can now choose to give your Discord friends the ability to see that and decide whether they want to hop on their Xbox and join you,” Microsoft said.
The integration is expected to roll out in the coming weeks. More information can be read on Microsoft’s website.
