While celebrities playing video games isn’t anything new, Fortnite is reaching a pop culture saturation point that few games will be able to match. The latest example of this phenomenon is Logic talking shit about Drake’s Fortnite ability while performing his single during an appearance on Ellen.

“Tell that boy Drake he don’t want it with me on Fortnite!” Logic told the crowd in the middle of his performance.

Drake recently joined super-popular Fortnite streamer Ninja for a few rounds of the game, setting viewership records on Twitch and inverting the standard procedure of games using celebrities for attention. We have since entered the world of celebrities using video games for attention.

Never before have the worlds of hip-hop, midday family-friendly talk shows and video games smashed together in such a timely way. Those dots inside the Venne diagram of Logic, Ellen, Drake and Fortnite fans must have felt like this moment was meant just for them.

Ninja, in a bizarre twist, recently caused controversy by using a racial slur while rapping along to a Logic song. The use of the slur was an ad-lib, and wasn’t part of the original lyrics. He’s since apologized for his actions.

You can watch Logic’s full performance below. You can check out Fortnite by asking just about anyone under the age of 30 to show it to you.
