Bandai Namco will give players a chance to try out Dark Souls: Remastered with a network test during the weekend of May 11. The network test will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Players will be able to test the game on Friday, May 11 and Saturday, May 12, from 6 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. PDT each day. The test version will be limited to the Undead Parish location and have players summoning co-op partners or invade others’ games, Bandai Namco said in an announcement.
The Dark Souls: Remastered network test client is available to download starting today, May 1, but it will be removed from digital stores on May 8 at 11:59 p.m. PDT, so don’t dilly-dally. Dark Souls: Remastered’s network test will require an Xbox Live Gold subscription if you’re planning on playing on Xbox One.
Dark Souls: Remastered will be released on May 25 for PS4, Windows PC and Xbox One. It’s also coming to Nintendo Switch, but that version of the game was recently delayed to sometime this summer.
