Destiny 2: Warmind is only a few days old, but it already has players hunting for exotics in strange places. In Destiny’s Raid Secrets subreddit, there is a megathread for players actively trying to crack Bungie’s latest code. The thread is currently over 700 comments long.
The puzzle itself stems from a well-hidden cipher found within the chamber of Rasputin himself, a major character and location in Warmind.
The cipher is clock-shaped, with each node leading to another. First is the symbol for your ghost, which leads to two linked codes. From there, the cipher connects to three keys in a row, eventually leading to a keyhole shaped like the Warmind symbol.

The puzzle itself is extremely complicated, with players running around Mars and deciphering code. Just as an example, the first two steps in a five-step symbol puzzle are to reverse a code hidden in the world and remove all second A’s and B’s, and then all third C’s and R’s.
This isn’t the first time Bungie has hidden something this complicated inside Destiny. During the Rise of Iron expansion, players were using binary code to earn the Outbreak Prime pulse rifle. The gun was beloved by the Destiny community for its power, but also because of how exciting the puzzle to get it was.
Players currently have no idea what this puzzle will drop or how it’ll end. We’ll update this story with more information as it becomes available. You can check out Destiny YouTuber Unknown Player’s description of the puzzle for more information.
