The latest Destiny 2 expansion, Warmind, was released this week, to mixed reaction. Changes were made that improved on existing content, but some fans were annoyed that the new strikes were recycled from old campaign missions. If you haven’t played Destiny 2 before and want to see what all the fuss is about, Best Buy is selling it for $9.99, which is a whole $40 off retail price. Amazon was selling it at that price for a while too, but it unsurprisingly sold out pretty quickly.
Two of our favorite places to find discounted PC games are having big sales this week. Fanatical, known for their 24-hour flash sales and heavily discounted bundles, is having a May Madness sale. New deals are launching every day through May 20, and you can use code MAY10 for 10 percent off everything else. Today’s flash deal is on Batman: Arkham Knight - Premium Edition. Green Man Gaming is having a birthday sale with new deals every 8 hours (they’ve been around for 8 years). Use code GMGBDAY for an extra 20 percent off. All orders also get a free mystery game download. I got Huntsman: The Orphanage with my order, but it’s unclear whether the mystery game changes.

Commerce Team Picks
- This is your final reminder that Mother’s Day is tomorrow, May 13. If you haven’t gotten your mom a gift yet, we put together a list of superhero-themed gift ideas for inspiration. If you order now, you’ll only be a few days late with your gift which — let’s face it — she probably expected anyway.
- Nintendo announced this week that they’d be fixing one of the Nintendo Switch’s biggest design flaws: the inability to charge while in Tabletop mode. The new charging adapter comes out in Jul. If you don’t want to wait until then, Amazon Basics makes a stand that holds your Switch at an angle so the charging cable can reach the port.
- Dungeons and Dragons fans are probably already aware that there’s a new sourcebook coming out later this month, Mordenkainen’s Tome of Foes. Polygon’s Charlie Hall pointed out that there is a chapter devoted to halflings and gnomes he’s excited for; I’m more interested in what’s going on with the dark dwarves and duergar. It sounds like there’s a hefty bit of color commentary from the eponymous wizard, Mordekainen, as well. If you’re planning on picking up this book, preorders are 40 percent off at Amazon until it’s released on May 18.
