Owen S. Good is a longtime veteran of video games writing, well known for his coverage of sports and racing games.

Milla Jovovich, Capcom’s leading lady for the Resident Evil movies, will star in the upcoming film adaptation of Monster Hunter, Variety reports. The flick will be directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, who directed four of the six Resident Evil films, as well as 1995’s unforgettable Mortal Kombat.

Anderson and producer Jeremy Bolt announced the film project back in November 2016, a couple months before Resident Evil: The Final Chapter premiered. The Monster Hunter movie is said to have a budget of around $50 million.

Every one of the Resident Evil movies made money galore — The Final Chapter made $312,242,626 worldwide and the whole series grossed a billion dollars — so even $50 million seems like a pretty safe bet for Capcom and Constantin Film.

Monster Hunter: World launched in January for Playstation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One, and is a smash success for the publisher, selling 7.9 million copies as of March.
