May 22 marks the first Iron Banner event of season three in Destiny 2: Warmind. In anticipation of this weeklong PvP event, Bungie tweeted out a teaser of a beloved Crucible map from Destiny: Bannerfall.

Added in the Taken King expansion, Bannerfall takes players to a empty tower of the Last City, a location similar to Destiny’s and Destiny 2’s primary social spaces. Like the rest of the Tower, it’s a mix of smooth metal, lightly colored concrete, and tiny gardens. Players are able to navigate narrow buildings to get the jump on one another, or fight in wide courtyards. But this version of Bannerfall bears scars of the war with the Red Legion, as depicted in the Destiny 2 campaign.

This new map is coming with the return of Iron Banner, a monthly PvP brawl put on by Lord Saladin, one of the oldest Guardians in the Destiny-verse. Unlike previous Iron Banners in Destiny 2, this week’s event will offer six-on-six gameplay with the Control game mode. This change should help Iron Banner fall more in line with the event that players loved in the original Destiny.

As in all new seasons, players will be able to acquire new looks for their Iron Banner gear by participating in the event for the rest of season three. Bungie showed off the new armor in the This Week at Bungie last week. There are also new Iron Banner weapons for players to earn. You can see the armor in the GIF below, and start trying to earn it when Iron Banner goes live at 10 a.m. PT on May 22.
