Disney’s live-action Christopher Robin movie is going to try and take on everyone’s favorite live-action bear franchise, Paddington, by offering up even more adorable Winnie the Pooh characters.
Eeyore, Piglet and Tigger all make their debut in the new Christopher Robin trailer, as they march from the Hundred Acre Wood to London. The iconic characters are just as we remember them; Tigger is still a rumbustious tiger, Piglet is still an adorable baby pig and Eeyore is still massively depressed. Like Winnie the Pooh, who made his debut in the first Christopher Robin trailer, the characters are made to look more lifelike.
An official synopsis for the movie reads:
In the heartwarming live action adventure Disney’s Christopher Robin, the young boy who shared countless adventures with his band of lovable stuffed animals in the Hundred Acre Wood is now grown up and living in London but he has lost his way. Now it is up to his childhood friends to venture into our world and help Christopher Robin rediscover the joys of family life, the value of friendship and to appreciate the simple pleasures in life once again.
Christopher Robin will be released on Aug. 3.
